MAIUG 2016 Conference

The Mid-Atlantic Innovative Users Group (MAIUG) conference will be at Widener University, Delaware School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware on October 6 and 7, 2016. Registration closes on September 23, 2016.

We welcome all staff from Innovative libraries from the Mid-Atlantic states to our conference. You do not need to be a member of the national Innovative Interest Group to attend.

The 2016 Mid-Atlantic Users Group (MAIUG) will include two full-day pre-conference workshops on Thursday, October 6 and a full day of sessions on Friday, October 7.  Leif Pedersen, Executive VP, Products, will be presenting the “Future of Libraries” with a Q&A to follow with Bill Schickling, Executive VP, Sales & Marketing.  A full schedule of the two days is available at

Registration for the conference is $25 per person ($40 for non-member MAIUG libraries) and includes a continental breakfast, lunch, snacks and materials.

The pre-conference, on October 6, 2016, features two all-day workshops: Mastering Create Lists by Richard V. Jackson (Huntington Library) and Polaris SQL by Trevor Diamond (BCCLS). The cost of the pre-conference is $75 per person ($100 for non-member MAIUG libraries) and includes continental breakfast, lunch and snacks.  The Polaris SQL Workshop is limited to 24 registrants.

The MAIUG has reserved a small block of rooms at two hotels located directly across from Widener University Delaware School of Law’s campus with prices guaranteed through September 6, 2016.
